Here’s how you can use Change Agent to conduct donor research and analysis, gathering intelligence on potential donors and developing targeted fundraising strategies.
Step 1: Gather Donor Data
Collect publicly available information about potential donors, including their philanthropic history, business interests, and personal connections. This data can be sourced from online directories, news articles, social media profiles, and existing donor databases.
Step 2: Upload Donor Data to Change Agent
Upload the collected data as a file or copy-paste it into the prompt window. If the data is available on a webpage, use the "#https://"
method to load the content directly into Change Agent.

Step 3: Prompt Change Agent for Analysis
Ask Change Agent to analyze the donor data, identifying key patterns, connections, and insights. Use a simple prompt such as "Analyze the philanthropic history of [DONOR NAME]" or "Identify potential donors with interests in [SPECIFIC CAUSE]."
Step 4: Review & Refine Analysis
Review the analysis provided by Change Agent and refine it further by asking follow-up prompts, such as "What are the top three causes supported by [DONOR NAME]?
” or "Which donors have a history of supporting organizations similar to ours?"
Step 5: Develop Targeted Fundraising Strategies
Using the insights gained from Change Agent’s analysis, develop targeted fundraising strategies tailored to each donor’s interests and giving patterns. This may involve crafting personalized appeals, identifying potential connections or introductions, or creating customized stewardship plans.
