Developing a Crisis Communications Plan Using Change Agent

Here’s how you can use Change Agent to develop a crisis communications plan.
Step 1: Identify Potential Crises
Conduct a risk assessment to identify potential crises that could impact your organization. This should include a review of past incidents, industry trends, and emerging issues.
Step 2: Upload Relevant Information to Change Agent
Upload relevant information about your organization, including its mission, values, and key messaging. This can also include text from previous crisis communications plans or media releases.

Step 3: Prompt Change Agent to Draft Crisis Communications Plan
Provide a baseline prompt such as "Create a crisis communications plan for [ORGANIZATION NAME], including messaging, media relations, and stakeholder engagement."
Regenerate the answer at least five times to explore different scenarios and response strategies.
Step 4: Review & Revise
Choose the plan that resonates most with your organization’s goals and values. Ask follow-up prompts to refine the messaging and response strategies, such as "Rewrite the media release to emphasize [KEY MESSAGE]"
or "Develop a social media strategy for crisis communications."
Step 5: Finalize and Implement
Review and finalize your crisis communications plan, then implement it across your organization. Ensure that all stakeholders are aware of their roles and responsibilities in the event of a crisis.
